Job Could Still Praise GodJob had a rough time, didn’t he?  I mean after all, the guy had it all, and then lost it all – right?  He lost his flocks, his wealth, much of his family, and even his health.  In terms of having it bad, we can likely all agree that Job was the poster boy.

But did he really lose it all?  I am not so sure.  While his life became difficult beyond imagine, I suppose he still had left life’s greatest and fullest joy:  Job still had breath, and with it he could still worship God.  Of all the lessons we can draw from Job’s experience, this is what is inescapable to me today: not that we should still worship God through every situation (although yes we should) but that we still GET to worship God through every situation.

While all else may be stripped away, none can steal the joy of worshiping God from me.  This I shall have forever.  Praying today that this would sink into all of our hearts here at Foundation Christian School.  Desiring that each student could experience the full joy of worshiping our God, and never miss an opportunity to do so, no matter what.  (And of course, whatever is good for the children learn, is good for me also!)
