What is your tuition for the year?

Tuition is dependent on the ages of your children and the number of children attending Foundation. Go to our tuition grid for our pricing schedule. Check our special pricing program for new families.

Do you have a dress code?

Foundation embraces a regulated but relaxed dress code. Our school colours are: white, navy, hunter green and khaki. Each student wears a white polo shirt with Foundation Christian School’s logo.

One pair of fully enclosed ‘indoor’ and one pair of fully enclosed ‘outdoor’ athletic shoes are required for each student.

When does the school day begin?

The school day begins at 9:00am and concludes at 3:30pm. We follow the traditional school day incorporating morning recess, lunch recess and afternoon recess.

Lunch begins at 12:10. Students eat in their classes with supervision. Lunch recess begins at 12:30. All children are expected to go outside at recess unless they are participating in intramurals, rehearsals or otherwise have special permission to stay indoors.


How big are the class sizes?

One of the benefits of Foundation Christian School is the class size. With an average class size of 14 students, we are able to maintain a highly engaged class environment. Currently we have split grades (JK&SK, 1&2, 3&4, 5&6 and 7&8). Class sizes vary and are evaluated annually.

Do your teachers have their Ontario Teaching Certification?

Yes, all of our academic core teachers are fully trained and certified. We reserve the privilege of hiring specialists for programs such as music.

What curriculum do you use?

We follow the Ontario Curriculum for Academics only and infuse it with Christian values and themes.

Do all classes receive Christian Education?

Christian education is taught as a regular subject at all grade levels, incorporating a variety of themes which may include but not be limited to scripture knowledge and understanding, Biblical stories and themes, discipleship, creation science and relationship.

Do you have sports teams?

Students have many opportunities to participate on sports teams. We belong to CAASO – Christian Athletic Association of Southern Ontario, which hosts several sporting events throughout the year. Our athletic department organizes teams to participate in as many of these events as possible. Some examples of tournaments we have participated in in the past are: cross country, soccer, badminton, floor hockey and track and field. We also host our own track and field event in the spring.

How does your JK & SK run?

Our JK and SK class attends every Monday, Wednesday and Friday of each week from 9:00am to 3:30pm.

Do you provide transportation?

School purposed vehicles are available for families. Foundation also assists with carpooling arrangements.
